UDHAMPUR, Dec 18: Chenani Police today rescued four bovine animals, which were being smuggled to Kashmir in a Tata Mobile vehicle at Chenani, Udhampur District.
The vehicle, bearing registration number JK02CB-3174 was intercepted during naka at Motor Shed by a Police party, led by SHO Chenani, SI Sanjeet Sharma. Driver of the Tata Mobile fled the scene abandoning the vehicle.
During checking, four bovine animals were rescued from the said vehicle, which was also seized. In this regard, a case FIR number 115/18, under section 188 RPC, 3 PCA has been registered at Police Station Chenani.
