LEH, Dec 21: Taking serious note of the complaints raised during General Council Meeting regarding uneven potholes on main roads in Leh town, the Deputy Chairman LAHDC, Leh Gyal P Wangyal convened a meeting of Xen R&B, PHE, and concerned AEEs and Engineers headed by SE PWD, Leh S K Pandita in his office chamber today.
The Dy Chairman directed SE PWD and all the Executive Engineers to ensure utmost coordination among them while executing works on ground. He also directed Xen PHE to identify all the potholes in Leh town and cover the same at the earliest possible time. He announced to make a tour of all the roads of Leh in a week’s time to assess the ground reality.
Regarding left out roads of Leh town for macadamization, Dy Chairman directed Xen R& B and Xen PHE to exchange list of roads in Leh town which are ready for blacktopping and complete the tendering process accordingly.
