Students send Thank-You greeting cards to BSF

JAMMU, Dec 22: Hundreds of students of various schools of North West Region of the Country have send Thank-You greeting cards to BSF on the eve of New Year and Republic Day.
The cards were made by the students on the initiative of Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, North West Region, Chandigarh, BK Jha, IRS with a theme “Ek Rishta School Se Sarhad Tak”.
In the greeting cards, which were handed over today to BSF authorities by the officers of Income Tax Department, Chandigarh, the students expressed their gratitude to BSF personnel for protecting borders of the country, thereby giving civilians of the country a peaceful life.
While receiving greeting cards of students from Income Tax officials, Ram Avtar, Inspector General BSF, Paloura (Jammu) said that these greeting cards will delight and motivate the BSF men and women who are living away from their families to secure the sovereignty of our nation.
