Only BJP is true well-wisher of minorities: Dr Naheeda Zafar

JAMMU, Dec 22: Only BJP is the true well-wisher of minority communities who were ditched for more than seven decades by Congress and other political parties for their lust of power. This was stated by Dr. Naheeda Zafar Shaikh, national general secretary of BJP’s Minority Morcha and Prabhari of J&K BJP’s Minority Morcha at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here today.
Dr. Naheeda was in Jammu to hold meeting with the BJP’s State Minority Morcha team to discuss various organizational issues and draw map for ensuring maximum support of minorities to the party in 2019 elections.
National Executive Member BJP’s Minority Morcha & in- charge J&K, Javed Aslam, MLC Sofi Yusuf, State president of Minority Morcha, Sadiq Khan, State press secretary & media in charge, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra and other senior leaders were also present in the meeting.
Dr. Naheeda, while addressing the meeting, made a scathing attack on Congress for using the minority communities as their vote bank. She asked that Congress deliberately exploited minorities for seven decades and deprived them of good education and other opportunities so that they should not understand the real cruel intentions of these parties. She emphasized that today BJP has given voice to minorities and took up their issues empathetically. The BJP is their true well-wisher, she added.
She vehemently asked the members of minority communities to support Prime Minister, Narendra Modi in his vision of taking India to the top of the world. She added that due to the selfless and dedicated work by PM Modi, today every Indian is feeing proud across the globe. She appealed the minorities to work extra hours for ensuring the victory of BJP in 2019 elections so that the true empowerment of minorities can be achieved.
Javed Aslam, in his address, said that even after so many years of independence, the areas of Poonch, Rajouri and other backward areas of the State have been devoid of good quality education and other facilities. He said that for the very first time, BJP has ensured essential steps to take more than 100 Government schemes to the farthest places which will particularly help the minorities living in these areas.
Sofi Yusuf, said that in the State itself Congress, NC, PDP have exploited the emotions of minorities for the decades together.
Sadiq Khan, in his address, showered praises on the PM Modi for his keen interest to uplift the minority communities.
