JAMMU, Dec 24: All J&K Shri Guru Ravi Dass Sabha has decided to organize a grand function in connection with the Parkash Utsav (birthday) of Guru Ravi Dass Ji on February 19, 2019 at Krishna Nagar Sabha Bhawan.
Talking to media-persons here today, ML Banalia (Gen Secy) along with other members of the Sabha said that after meeting of the Sabha members and representatives of various units, it was unanimously decided to take out Shobha Yatra from Karishna Nagar temple on Feb 17 (Sunday) in connection with the 642nd Parkash Utsav of Shri Guru Ravi Dass. He said Shobha Yatra after passing through various Bazars and markets of Jammu will finally culminate at Bahu Fort, Gurudwara. A large number of people will participate in the Shobha Yatra.
Mr Banalia further disclosed that in connection with the Parkash Utsav, a grand function will be organized at Krishna Nagar, temple of Shri Guru Ravidass Ji on Feb 19. Various district and tehsil level units of the Sabha would participate in it.
Mr Banalia and other members of the Sabha appealed to the members of all Shakha Sabhas and biradari members, retired and serving employees, women and children to take part in this grand religious programme.
Prominent among those present in the conference included- C L Banal ( Retd IPS), Ashok Thappa, Rattan Chand, Prof Vijay Shivgotra, D R Attri, Prof G L Thappa, Behari Lal, PL Angral and others.
