Surprise check in 104 Govt offices; 21 Health, AH Centers found locked

RAJOURI, Dec 24: At least 21 Govt offices/ Centres were found locked during surprise checking by various teams of officers in district Rajouri today.
Official sources said that with the aim of restoring punctuality and discipline in Government offices, different teams were constituted on the directions of Deputy Commiss-ioner Rajouri Mohammad Aijaz Asad, which conducted surprise checks at 104 different Government offices in the district in the morning, during which 10 employees were found absent or late. The checkings were conducted by teams under Additional Deputy Commissi-oners, SDMs, Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars.
During the inspection, it was found out that 50 employees were on leave, 48 were on official tour,10 were found absent and as many as 21 offices/establishments were found locked at the time of checking.
The inspected offices includes, Animal Husbandry, Social Welfare, Sheep Husba-ndry, Fisheries, Agriculture, Horticulture , ICDS(only CDPO office) across the district.
12 Sub Centres and offices of Animal Husbandry Department were found locked; one office of the Horticulture Department in Kotranaka and project of ICDS Kotranka were also found closed. Seven offices of Sheep Husbandry department, SH Center Saim Smith, SH Center Bawali Saj, SH Bakhar, SH Bagnoti, SH Duggal Halal, Sub Center Barvari and SH Budhal were found closed till the last report came.
