JAMMU, Dec 24: Former MLA of Jammu east, Rajesh Gupta launched the construction of drain work from back side of Amar Singh Club of Bikram Singh Gurudwara Mohalla at Bikram Chowk in Ward number 19, here today.
The estimated cost of the work is Rs 3 lakhs. Rajesh Gupta was accompanied by BJP leaders Sardar Gurcharan Singh, Kuldeep Balgotra, Sanjeev Bali, Opinder Singh, Manav Mahajan and Mohalla Welfare Association members Jasmeet Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Ved Bali, Kundan Lal Khajuria, Jagdev Singh, Dalgeet Singh Salathia, Lucky Jamwal, Vicky Bali, Harvinder Singh, Jarnail Singh and Jeevan Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajesh Gupta said that development is the only issue before him and he will continue to address the same with all his might and without any regard for caste, creed or religion. He said that even when the Assembly is dissolved, he was working with the same zeal and enthusiasm as before. “Now that we have BJP Corporators on the ground, the developmental works will be carried out at the same pace,” he added.
