SAMBA Dec, 24: A female committed suicide after consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in Bari Brahmana area of district Samba today.
The deceased woman has been identified as Roopa, wife of Hari Mohan a resident of Utter Pradesh at present in Mineral Factory, Bari Brahmana.
According to the police sources, she committed suicide during the intervening night after consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in Bari Brahman area of district Samba and suddenly she started vomiting and then became unconscious. On seeing her condition, her family members immediately took her to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for further treatment but doctors declared he as brought dead.
The police has taken cognizance of the matter and started further investigation.
