JAMMU, Dec 25: The dead body of a man was recovered this morning from railway track at Kunjwani area of city outskirts.
“The deceased was identified as Rahul (23) son of Mahinderpal, resident of Fatehpur (Punjab),” said a police official, adding, prima facie it appears that the man fell down from a train and was run over by it during intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.
He said the body was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem while police station GRP Jammu had initiated inquest proceedings in this connection.
