Christmas celebrated with zeal, enthusiasm

JAMMU, Dec 25: Christmas, the birthday of Jesus Christ was celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm.
Christmas was celebrated under the guidance of Father Niyamat and Father Sky Lark Principal of Infant Jesus Higher Secondary School Hiranagar. A large number of the community members including prominent people gathered to celebrate the birthday of Jesus and participated in special prayers. Ex-MLC Subash Gupta, Ex-MLA Girdhari Lal Chalotra, Rajeev Gupta and Ramesh Verma, both councilors and many others joined the celebrations and prayed for peace and calm in Jammu and Kashmir.
Sunrise Public School Channi celebrated Christmas. The function was organized by Women Club Meri Pehchan and NSC Student Wing of NCP. The students of the school presented cultural items. Talented students of LBM Blind School for girls also displayed their skills. The organizers of the function were Er Rishi Kaul Kilam National Executive Council Member NSC and Sandhya Gupta Chairperson Women Club Meri Pehchan. Founder Director of Sunrise Public School Manpreet Kour, Prayas NGO Chairman Pawan Dev Singh, Divyang Seva Ashram Chairman Purshotam and many others were present on the occasion.
The tiny tots of MHAC School, Nagbani celebrated the Christmas festival with gaiety. Dressed as Santa Claus, the little kindergartens were seen moving about in the Nagbani Campus singing Christmas Carols. Principal Sween Puri apprised the students about the importance of the day.
Nat Manch celebrated Christmas by organizing Karate and Self Defence Training Camp at Shakti Nagar, Jammu. Students from the different school of Jammu took part in the camp. The Camp was held under the supervision of Tarun Sharma Founder and President Nat Manch.
