JAMMU, Dec 26: Four office bearers of Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha (JCMS) were included in All India Akhil Bhartiya Mahajan Shiromani Sabha (ABMSS) during working committee meeting of the latter held recently at Mukerian (Punjab).
They are Romesh Chander Gupta (president, JCMS), Yash Pal Gupta (chief patron, JCMS), Shiv Partap (senior vice president, JCMS) and Ram Langer (vice-president, JCMS). While Romesh and Yash Paul have been appointed as senior vice-president of ABMSS and chairman of advisory committee of ABMSS, respectively, Shiv Partap and Ram Langer have been appointed as vice-presidents of ABMSS.
The working committee meeting was organized to celebrate 129th Birth Anniversary of Justice Mehar Chand Mahajan, a great political visionary saint of J&K, who remained 1st Prime Minister of the State under the regime of Maharaja Hari Singh.
The meeting was attended by All India president, Jungi Lal Mahajan, Rama Murti (ex-president), Om Parkash (vice-chairman, Mahajan Bhawan, Haridwar) and many other dignitaries. Besides, 500 delegates from all over the country attended the meeting. All the guests and dignitaries paid floral tributes to late Justice Mehar Chand Mahajan.
Moreover, in previous All India working committee meeting, Om Parkash Gupta (senior vice-president, JCMS) was appointed as secretary, Haridwar Mahajan Bhawan while his team members—Rajinder Motial, Kailash Langer, Om Parkash (general secretary, JCMS), Dr Mohal Lal, cashier Balbir Gupta, Mukesh Mahajan, Subash Jandyal, Vinod Gupta, Surinder Gupta, Ram Kumar Gupta and Rajiv Gupta were appointed as members of working committee of Mahajan Bhawan Haridwar.
