KISHTWAR, Dec 26: A house was damaged in fire near mini-bus stand here today.
As per police sources, a fire broke out in the second storey of a house owned by Ghulam Mustafa, son of Abdul Rashid Malla at mini-bus stand.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and informed the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
Fire fighters along with fire tenders reached the spot and doused the flames with the assistance of the locals and Red Cross volunteers, but till then the second storey of the house was completely damaged in the fire.
No casualty has been reported in the incident, but a volunteer of Red Cross Azgar Sheikh alias Bita Sheikh received minor injuries. The exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
In this regards, Kishtwar Police has taken cognizance.
