Randhawa inaugurates 100 KVA transformer

JAMMU, Dec 27: Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, today inaugurated100 KVA newly installed transformer in Gandhi Nagar.
Ch. Vikram while addressing the local residents of Ward No-21, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu after inaugurating the newly installed transformer said that it was the long pending demand of the people. He said that due to one transformer in the locality the power scenario was worst and the people were facing acute problems.
Randhawa said that on the demand of the people a new transformer was sanctioned which has been installed and the people will no more suffer due to unscheduled power cuts due to overload on single transformer. He urged the people to use power judiciously and pay tariff to the department well in time so that the maintenance could be done properly.
He assured the people that the power is now among the basic requirement of the life and we cannot imagine life even for a single day without power. He urged the people to switch off all the electric gadgets immediately after use which will save power and further lower down the bill.
