UDHAMPUR, Dec 28: In an apparent case of suicide, a young woman was run over by train near Channi Morh on Jammu- Udhampur Railway track, here this morning.
The deceased was identified as Usha Devi (36), wife of Ashok Kumar of Chak Udhampur. He body was found on the railway track.
According to the reports, Malwa Express from Jammu to Udhampur hit her around 08:15 AM. Though there was eye witness, it appears to be a case of suicide, said Railway Police, which shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur and later handed it over to the family members after postmortem.
