JAMMU, Jan 1: A bike-borne man died this evening in a road mishap occurred in Muthi area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, the man identified as Mahesh Gill, son of Rampal Gill, resident of Muthi, was travelling on a bike when a speeding bus hit his two-wheeler at Muthi on Jammu-Akhnoor Road.
“Mahesh received serious head injury in the mishap. He was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors,” the official said, adding, the body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital while a case in this connection was registered at police station Domana and investigations started.
