JAMMU, Jan 1: In a meeting of Old Janipur People Development Committee here today under the chairmanship of Kulwant Singh Sambyal certain issues of the locality discussed and demands raised.
Speakers in the meeting demanded installation of music fountain, CCTV cameras, open gym, watchman, gardeners, library and underground water tank in the park and handing it over to the Floriculture Department for its maintenance.
Other demands included underground sewerage network at Ram Vihar Mohalla, repair of the Nallah passing through Shant Nagar and opening of J&K Bank branch at Old Janipur area.
More demands included black topping of roads, repair and renovation of lanes and drains and proper street lights at Ram Vihar, Indira Vihar, Pandoka colony, Hari Nagar and also Old Janipur areas.
Prabhu Dayal, Jagmohan Singh, Rajinder Dhar, Rakesh Jamwal and others were also present in the meeting.
