SAMBA, Jan 3: One motorcyclist was killed after his two wheeler collided with another motorcycle near Bandral area of Sector Ramgarh in district Samba today.
The deceased has been identified as Janak Singh, son of Darshan Singh resident of Govindgarh Ramgarh and the injured was identified as Mangal Singh, son of Himat Singh resident of Village Bandral Ramgarh.
According to the Police, the mishap occurred at Vijaypur Ramgarh road near Bandral, when the motorcycle bearing Registration No JK21D- 5930 collided with another motorcycle without registration number at Bandral area of Ramgarh in district Samba, as result both motorcyclist got injured and were shifted to Ramgarh hospital for treatment. At the Hospital doctors declared one motorcyclist as brought dead. He was identified as Janak Singh and the injured was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for further treatment. The body of the deceased was kept in the mortuary room of CHC Ramgarh for autopsy. After autopsy the body of the deceased was handover to legal heirs for his last rites.
The police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
