JAMMU, Jan 4: Advisor to the Governor, Khurshid Ahmed Ganai, has taken serious noteof the absenteeism among teachers at Super-50 Tuition Centres.
In a statement, Ganai, who is in charge of the Education Department, asked Secretary Education Department, AK Sahu and Director School Education Kashmir (DSEK) Dr G N Itoo, to fix responsibility and take strong action against the teachers playing truant with their responsibilities.
He directed DSEK to notify helpline numbers to facilitate aspirants in case they require intervention of the higher authorities.
The Advisor also called upon the parents and students to register their complaints with the concerned Chief Education Officers and the Zonal Education Officers and, if need be, with the Director School Education Kashmir on notified telephone numbers of that office.
