JAMMU, Jan 4: A United India Insurance team from its regional office Chandigarh today visited Government Higher Secondary School Nandpur, Samba and distributed a large number of education enhancing equipment, aids and items under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
These items included fans, water cooler, water purifier, PA system, volley balls, foot balls, carom boards, mats, skeletons, skeleton case, green boards, library tables, library chairs, book case, news paper stand, school bags, note books and prizes.
The event was organized by the school staff and facilitated by Sanjeev Bhateja, DM of the company.
Prakash Lal Thapa, Principal of the school, other staff members, Sudarshan Choudhary, social activist and Raj Kumari, Sarpanch of the area were also present on this occasion and lauded the initiative of United India Insurance.
The visiting team of United India Insurance included Dr. Dilip Kumar Buwa, Dy General Manager as chief guest; Geeta Anand, RM; B.M Bharti, Manager; Pankaj Jain, Dy Manager and Amit Bansal, Admin Officer,
Speaking at the occasion, chief guest assured the school management of continue flow of such help for the education of border schools.
