4 injured in accident

JAMMU, Jan 6: Four persons were injured when the taxi they were traveling in skidded off the road and plunged into gorge near Magarkote, falling under the jurisdiction of Ramsu Police Station.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK01T-0470 was on its way to Kashmir from Jammu, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it plunged into gorge near Magarkote, resulting into injuries to four persons.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to PHC Ramsu, from where they were later referred to a hospital in Srinagar.
The injured have been identified as 42-year-old Nazir Ahmed (driver), son of Mohammad Ismail, Shabir Ahmed (23), son of Abdul Qayoom, Obaid Ahmed (18), son of Ghulam Mohi-u-Din and Mir Abrar (18), son of Mohammad Abdullah, all residents of Kokernag, District Anantnag.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Ramsu and investigation started.
