‘Wall of Kindness’ for poor, homeless people inaugurated at Bahu Plaza

JAMMU, Jan 7: In the wake of intense cold and bad weather conditions in Jammu and Kashmir, French Club of Jammu inaugurated a ‘Wall of Kindness’ at Bahu Plaza wherein woolen clothes were distributed among the poor and homeless people.
Members of the Club along with some eminent personalities of Jammu gathered at Bahu Plaza and donated woolen clothing for the poor.
Arun Sharma, president of the Club, who was also present on the occasion, said that everyone who can afford must donate food and clothes to the needy especially during the winter season. Homeless people roaming in different parts of the city could now get warm clothes from this ‘Wall of Kindness’, he added.
Residents of the city were also urged by the members of the Club to donate warm clothes at the ‘Wall of Kindness’ in Bahu Plaza for the poor.
The event was organized in association with Bahu Plaza Association, Navya Collection, Malvi & Fitness, Public Administration Association, Manomay Institute of Music, Minerva IELTS Coaching Centre, Rohini Printers and Artistic Dance & Fitness Studio.
Among those who were present included actor/anchor Kusum Tikoo, Sakshi Gupta from Navya Collection, Gagan Deep Singh, Tapas Tandon, Ravinder Singh, Arjun Sharma, Kamal Jandyal, Vivek Mohan and Sushil.
