JAMMU, Jan 7: Former Dy. CM and senior BJP leader, Kavinder Gupta today toured Gandhi Nagar Constituency and took the stock of ongoing developmental works and started laying of pipe line of Water Supply Schemes (WSS) at Goswami Colony, in Bahu area of Gandhi Nagar Constituency.
Kavinder Gupta along with Corporators, Sharda Kumari started much awaited WSS and dream project came true for the residents as after completion of work the residents of whole of the Goswami Colony shall be supplied with the required water supply. This was the long pending demand of the area and this project is being executed by the P.H.E Department.
Speaking on the occasion, Gupta said that Government is committed to provide all basic amenities like adequate drinking water, power, education, healthcare facilities and other civic facilities to the people of all the three regions of the State especially the areas where there is either shortage of water supply or where the pipes are damaged and in the new colonies.
He complimented BJP workers for all the efforts and hard work they had put to make BJP victorious in recently held ULB and Panchayat elections. Hitting out at the Congress, Gupta claimed that BJP is the party that not only make promises but believes in fulfilling them. He added that ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ is not a slogan for the party but a sacred hymn.
Gupta further lauded the efforts of his booth-level workers of BJP by claiming ‘Mera booth, Sabsmajboot’. He stressed for the “Sense of service, balance, patience, coordination, positive attitude, sensitivity and dialogue “the seven points to be followed by every worker. “BJP is only party where a booth-level worker like me can become Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, booth level worker like Amit Shah can rise through the ranks and become national president and son of a tea vendor can become Prime Minister,” Gupta added.
Former Dy. CM said in its over 60 years of rule, the Congress failed to change the fate of poor and down trodden while the Modi Government has launched hundreds of pro poor and pro common masses schemes. Besides, his Government has taken 100’s of important decisions, including surgical strike, GST and demonetisation. “BJP Governments do not take decision that people like, but they take decisions that are good for the people,” said Kavinder Gupta.
