UDHAMPUR, Jan 7: One person was injured when a vehicle hit a bike on National Highway near Udhampur today.
A police spokesman said the pillion rider sustained critical injuries when a motorcycle met with an accident with a Scorpio at Sial Sallan, near Udhampur.
The injured has been identified as Kajal (20), daughter of Rattan Lal, resident of Bhart Nagar, Udhampur. She was admitted to District Hospital, Udhampur.
The accident took place around 2.15 pm when the Scorpio vehicle bearing registration number JK14-6217, hit a Bullet Motorcycle without number at Sial Sallan. Locals shifted the injured to District Hospital Udhampur, where doctors referred her to GMC Hospital, Jammu. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
