JAMMU, Jan 9: Muthi Cricket Club (MCC) registered win over Champion Cricket Club (CCC) by 19 runs and sailed into the next stage of the ongoing KC Sports Club Cup, here today.
Batting first after winning the toss, MCC set a target of 148 runs to win. Anil, Vishal and Robin made 53, 45 and 15 runs respectively.
From bowling side, Abid Nabi and Sourab took 2 wickets each.
In reply, CCC collapsed at 129 runs. Sandeep, Akhil and Munna made 32, 24 and 22 runs respectively.
From bowling side Vishal Khajuria was the wrecker-in-chief who scalped 5 wickets, while Nikhal and Vishal Kumar took one wicket each.
Vishal Khajuria was declared as Man of the Match.
