RAJOURI, Jan 9: The police have recovered a missing minor girl of Kotranka area in district Rajouri today.
Official sources said that on January 2, a man hailing from Kanthol village in Kotranka lodged a complaint that his daughter has allegedly been kidnapped by one Mohammad Aslam, son of Mohammad Hussain, a resident of Kundardhan in Chasana area of district Reasi.
He said a case FIR No. 5/2019 under sections 366/109 RPC was registered at Kandi, Police Station.
During investigation, several vital clues were developed and a team of police headed by SHO Kandi Manzoor Kohli was constituted to recover the girl on the basis of these clues.
Today, the team of police under the supervision of DySP, Pranav Mahajan raided a suspected location at Behrote in Budhal and traced the girl. The accused namely, Mohammad Aslam was also arrested.
After completion of legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her family. Further investigation of the case was in progress.
