NOWSHERA, Feb 2: Thirteen `Veer Naris’ were felicitated by the Kalidhar brigade, under the aegis of Cross Swords Division in a function organized at Sunderbani.
Chairperson, Family Welfare Organisation (FWO), Cross Swords Division Padamshree Patnaik presided over the function. She interacted with the `Veer Naris’ of tehsil Sunderbani, attending the function and listened to their grievances. She distributed shawls and cash (token money) among the 13 `Veer Naris’ on the occasion.
The families of the soldiers from Kalidhar brigade also organized a cultural programme on the occasion. The Army has been working tirelessly towards welfare of `Veer Naris’. The wives of martyred soldiers expressed their gratitude to the Army for its noble gesture.
