JAMMU, Jan 12: The dead body of a 16-year-old boy was found hanging from a tree in Domana area of city outskirts.
“The deceased has been identified as Sethi son of Ram Rattan, resident of Chattisgarh, who was presently living in a ‘jhuggi’ in Machine Domana area,” said a police official. He said the body of the boy was found hanging from a tree near his ‘jhuggi’ today..
The official said inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC have been initiated in this connection at police station Domana while body has been handed over to its legal heirs for last rites after postmortem at Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
