SAMBA, Jan 13: District police Samba arrested two drug peddlers in the jurisdiction of P/S Bari Brahmana and recovered 20 gms of charas from their possession.
A police party of P/S Bari Brahmana, headed by Inspector, Darshan Singh, SHO, Bari Brahmana under the supervision of Sunil Kesar, SDPO Bari Brahmana during patrolling in Industrial area, Bari Brahmana intercepted two persons who were moving under suspicious circumstances.
During frisking, 20 gms Charas was recovered from their possession. They were identified as Harjinder Singh, S/o Sikander Singh and Ashwani Kumar, S/o Mohan Singh both residents of Channi Karthroli, Bari Brahmana. The drug peddlers were arrested on the spot and contraband item were also seized. In this regard a case FIR No. 10/2019 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at P/S Bari Brahmana and investigation started.
The drive was launched on the directives of SSP Samba Dr Koshal Sharma.
