SAMBA, Jan 14: One person was injured after he was attacked by four goons of village Daghore of district Samba today.
According to the reports, the incident took place during the intervening night at village Dagohre area of Samba district. The old rivalry is stated to be the cause of assault.
Reports said Sohan Lal, son of Sham Lal resident of Dagohre was coming after attending the marriage function and when he reached near village, suddenly four goons of the village attacked him with stones, as a result he received critical injuries on his head. Seeing his condition critical the other villagers rushed him to Accidental Hospital Vijaypur for treatment.
Incharge Police Post, Supwal, Sub Inspector, Javed Kataria under whose jurisdiction the incident took place, said that during the intervening night the incident took place in village Dagohre due to old rivalry in which police arrested three persons on spot.
However the fourth person is still at large and police is lookout for him also. A case was also registered under relevant sections of the law against the assailants.
