JAMMU, Feb 3: After the constitution of teams of various organs of the party, the first meeting of all the cells of BJP was held at party Headquarters today under the chairmanship of State president Jugal Kishore Sharma and also addressed by State general secretary (organisation) Ashok Koul and State Incharge of Cells Sat Sharma (CA).
The State convenors of over two dozen cells attended this meeting and suggested various means and ways to ensure better functioning of their respective cells.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while addressing the meeting, said that the convenors of the party cells are the people from different fields who have the direct contact with the people and are well aware of their day to day problems.
He said that the party has assigned very important responsibilities to the convenors with a motive to get closer to people working in different fields and prepare them to highlight their problems at appropriate fora in a democratic way. He said that BJP stands for equal treatment to all the sections of the society and people working in different fields. He assured that the party will continue with policy of fighting for the cause of the masses.
Ashok Koul said whether it is parent body BJP or its any other organ, each one has to play a very challenging role as the environment in this border State is entirely different than other parts of the country. Every now and than such developments takes place, which can’t be considered healthy for the country and its interests in J&K.
Sat Sharma, highlighted the progress of various party cells who are involved in strengthening the organization at grass root level since day first of their formation.
He said no stone will be left unturned by the conveners of Party cells in strengthening the BJP.
Sanjiv Sharma, Shiv Kumar Gupta, Kulbhushan Mohtra, Pardeep Sharma, Kuldeep Sharma, Sanjay Khanna, Subhash Gupta, Rajiv Charak, Baldev Ballowria, Vikram Randhawa, Deepak Kapahi, Bharat Bhushan, Jasbir Singh Lucky, Harbhajan Singh Pummy,Vipan Shastri, Karunesh Gupta, Sheel Magotra, Rajesh Dogra, Gajay Singh Rana, Jaidev Rajwal, V.K.Kattal, Anil Sharma and Bharat Bhushan Gosani took part in this meeting.
