JAMMU, Jan 17: Commissioner Secretary, PWD (R&B) Department, Khurshid Ahmed, today reviewed CRF works under execution in Jammu province, in a meeting of the officers.
He discussed scheme wise issues and progress with the concerned Executive Engineers and impressed upon all the engineers present in the meeting to ensure that all works are executed as per the planned schedule and no work should be allowed to linger on.
The Commissioner Secretary also directed the engineers to ensure that regular payments are released to the contractors and all genuine concerns of the contractors are addressed immediately.
While reviewing the progress, he directed the Superintending Engineers to fix detailed tours of such projects in their respective districts in the next two months so that the issues concerning these projects are sorted out at the spot.
The meeting was attended by Development Commissioner (Works)/Chief Engineer, PWD (R&B) Jammu, all Superintending Engineers, besides all the R&B Executive Engineers of Jammu province.
