Yuva Kranti Yatra to reach J&K today

JAMMU, Jan 17: Yuva Kranti Yatra, being organized under the leadership of IYC National president Keshav Chand Yadav and National vice president, Srinivas B V, is reaching J&K on January 18 at 5 PM at Lakhanpur.
The Yatra will be received by PYC J&K president, Uday Chib along with Sishpal Keharwala and Jagdeep Kampoj Goldy (both National Secretary and IYC incharge J&K) with other party activists at Lakhanpur.
Giving details about the Yatra, Chib informed that the Yatra will reach Srinagar on January 19 where in a youth convention will be held in which the issues related to the youth will be discussed. He said after holding the convention in Srinagar, the Yatra will come back to Jammu on the same day i.e, January 19, where in another youth convention will be held at JK Resorts in Jammu at 2:30 PM.
He further informed that the delegates from the national level as well as the senior Congress functionaries will address the convection and throw light on the issues being faced by the youth of the State.
Chib said that a youth convention will also be held at Samba on January 20. Later, the Yuva Kranti Yatra will move towards Himachal Pradesh on the same day i.e, January 20. “Rising unemployment, price hike, farmers’ distress, rising incidents of violence against women and corruption in the country are among the few issues which will be raised during the convention,” he added.
The “Yuva Kranti Yatra” was started on November 26 from Kanyakumari and will reach the National Capital on Martyrs’ Day on January 30 after covering all the states. It will cover all the states of North-east India, moving towards Jammu and Kashmir and will conclude in Delhi at Gandhi Memorial, Rajghat.
