Police unites missing man with family

RAJOURI, Jan 17: Police today united a missing man with his family in Sunderbani area.
“On Wednesday evening, some locals saw an unknown aged person at Bajabain road of Sunderbani. They informed the police, who brought the man to the police station,” a police spokesperson said.
He said that it was found that aged man is also suffering from partial paralysis and was not able to divulge his identification and was also not possessing identity card. “After providing meal and bedding to the aged man, police flashed messages to all the police stations and police posts to inquire about any missing report while information was also shared in media and on social media groups so that some clue about the man can be developed,” he added.
“In late night hours, a person from Narla Bambal village of Rajouri contacted police and claimed that the aged man is his father,” the official said adding on Thursday morning, the man reached to the police station and produced documentary proof which authenticated that the aged man is his father and was than identified as Mohammad Shafi of Narla Bambal. After legal formalities, he was handed over to his son, the official added.
