JAMMU, Jan 18: Shiv Sena Bala Sahib Thackeray expressed resentment against the Governor Satya Pal Malik for reaching out to the separatist leaders.
Addressing media persons here, Dimpy Kohli, State President Shiv Sena along with Manish Sahni General Secretary, Raj Singh and Raju Salaria said that there is no need to appease the Hurriyat leaders as they always promoted anti-India propaganda in Kashmir Valley. Hurriyat leaders are openly advocating and supporting Pakistan and it’s a known fact that they are acting as the agent of Pakistan, Kohli said.
“These people need to be taken to task and dealt with under the law. Any encouragement to such elements will prove to be counter-productive and the Government needs to understand this,” he said.
Kohli said during 2014 flash floods in Kashmir no Hurriyat leader was seen on road to save the life and express solidarity with Kashmiri people who were facing hardships due to the floods. Indian Army has saved the lives of thousands of Kashmiri people during the floods and also helped in the return of hundreds of youth to their families who had gone towards terrorism, he added.
He asserted that when DySP Ayub Pandit, Aurangzeb and SHO Umar Fayaz were killed no march was taken out, no bandh was observed and no action was taken by the Hurriyat and its allies.
“These separatist leaders are playing the future of youth in Jammu and Kashmir,” he asserted. Shiv Sena criticized the Hurriyat and other anti-national elements which are instigating the youth of Kashmir against the security forces.
Shiv Sena leaders said that youth of the Valley should now understand the game of these Hurriyat leaders as they don’t have anything to do with the people of Kashmir but only interested in filling their pockets.
Kohli asked the Governor Satya Pal Malik to take concrete action against these Hurriyat leaders and put them behind the bars to save Kashmir from further turmoil.
He asked the Governor to withdraw security and all the given benefits to the Hurriyat leaders immediately.
Kohli suggested the Governor to involve Shiv Sena and others like-minded parties in resolving the Kashmir issue.
