JAMMU, Jan 20: A meeting of PHE Workers Welfare Association was held here today under the chairmanship of Bakshi Singh, Association President.
Speakers in the meeting raised demands like regularization of daily rated workers (DRWs), release of wages of DRWs and compassionate appointment to one of the family members of deceased DRW in the department.
Other demands included Rs five lakh special assistance to the retiring daily rated workers and framing retirement policy of DRWs besides conduction of DPC.
