SRINAGAR: Air traffic at Srinagar International Airport was again suspended on Monday due to poor visibility, an official airport said.
So far, no flight has operated at Srinagar airport with an overcast sky affecting the visibility since early this morning, official told UNI.
Decision on allowing to and fro air traffic will be taken only after the visibility improves. ”We will conduct inspection later to taken a final decision, the official said.
However, the Meteorological department has issued a forecast for moderate to heavy rain and snow during the next 48 hours which could hit air and surface traffic.
The Srinagar-Jammu national highway has also been closed due to fresh snowfall today. (AGENCIES)
