JAMMU, Jan 23: Maruti Suzuki S 3rd generation Big New Wagon R was launched at Peaks Auto here.
The Big New Wagon R was unveiled today by Sanjay Gupta, Cluster Head J&K Bank in presence of Executive Director Peaks Group Jarnail Singh, Sales and Marketig Head Gowher Aslam, GM Service Rajeev Vats and Operation Head Manmeet Singh.
The Big New Wagon R is designed to make an impression on customers with its bold design, enhanced space and comfort. A true tall boy, the Big New Wagon R has a robust body language with a spacious stance making it outstandingly eye-catching.
Presenting the Big New Wagon R to customers, Kenichi Ayukawa, Managing Director and CEO, Maruti Suzuki India said, “We are delighted to present the latest generation of one of our most successful models. Over the years, Wagon R has become the choice of more than 2.2 million families. We are confident that the new Wagon R with its all new robust design, dynamically crafted and spacious interiors, smart play studio, strong Heartect platform and auto gear shift (AGS) technology will become the choice of many more Indian families.”
He informed that Maruti Suzuki and its partners have invested approximately Rs 670 crore for development of Big New Wagon R.
“Wagon R promises enhanced safety for its occupants. Use of high tensile steel helps to improve overall safety, rigidity and NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) performance. Safety features including driver air bag, ABS (antilock braking system) with EBD (electronic brake force distribution), front seat belts reminder, speed alert system and rear parking sensors are standard across variants. The all-new Wagon R meets all applicable regulations including offset, side crash and pedestrian safety norms”, he added.
