Ex MLA of NC responsible for public woes in Mendhar: Nadeem Rafiq

MENDHAR, Jan 23: Senior PDP leader and Advocate Nadeem Rafiq Khan today said the peoples of Mendhar were still deprived of basic facilities and had been facing huge problems as no one was ready to readdress their issues from administration side due to failure and lack of leadership of ex-MLA of Mendhar from National Conference.
“Enjoying power and continuing as legislature for the last 18 years had made him arrogant and irresponsible towards common issues of public,” he said in a statement, issued here today.
“He failed to complete the projects initiated by the earlier PDP ex- MLA. Mini Secretariat building, Emergency Block of SDH Mendhar, Bye Pass road of town, Grid Station for Balakote and Mendhar, PMGSY Road projects, PWD Roads, PHE lift schemes and many other pending projects are glaring examples of his failed leadership,” added Nadeem Rafiq.
Nadeem Rafiq further stated that making tall false claims on the upgradation of primary, middle schools, sanctioning Suran Mendhar Roads under PMGSY, sanctioning of water supply schemes, construction of bridges etc was just eye wash for public. “As all such works were sanctioned by earlier PDP ex-MLA during his tenure from 2008-14. National Conference ex–MLA Mendhar did nothing for public interest but made himself well settled through personal gains,” he alleged.
Nadeem further stated that a strong resentment is seen everywhere in Mendhar where villagers are lacking basic facilities like electricity, drinking water, roads, health and education etc while MGNREGA in RDD Sector is not been utilized for funding public importance projects of the area.
