SAMBA, Jan 23: A meeting of the Legal Cell of the Dogra Swabhiman Sangathan (DSS), was held at the District Court Complex Samba with the advocate members of the Cell under the chairmanship of Advocate BS Jamwal and general secretary, Vikrant Sharma.
The members of the DSS discussed threadbare the aim, objectives, background, performance and future course of action to unite all Dogras and restore their pride which has been hampered by the anti-Dogra policies of the Government in maligning the reputation of the Dogras on the distorted facts of Rassana case highlighted by the print and electronic media. The anti Jammu politicians always focused on the communal divide of the peace loving Dogras.
Jamwal also discussed the 25 point program in the vision document prepared by the Sangathan under the leadership of Ch Lal Singh founder president of the DSS and threw light for the unity of the Dogras. He further said that efforts are being made to force those who are at the helm of affairs to stop the discrimination which is going on since 1947. All the successive Governments have done nothing to protect the interests of the Dogras and even succumbed to the pressure of the Kashmiri leadership. The discrimination does not end here but crossed all the limits even to the extent of scrapping the Dogra certificate in the NC-Congress Government.
Advocate Vikrant Sharma highlighted the programs under taken by the Sangathan during the last year of the struggle. He further said that Governor has been apprised of struggle of DSS for the CBI inquiry but justice is still awaited.  Advocate Mohinder Singh has been nominated as district chairman Legal Cell, Advocate Parveen Malagar as vice chairman and Advocate, Ajay Gupta as general secretary.
