DODA, Jan 24: A youth allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Chilly area, falling under the jurisdiction of Gandoh Police Station, a police official said.
As per police sources, a youth identified as Ashiq Hussain (22), son of Shukar Din, a resident of Chilly allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence.
Finding him unconscious, family members shifted him to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Gandoh, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
After completing legal formalities, the body of the deceased has been handed over to family members for last rites.
In this regards, cognizance has been taken by Gandoh Police.
