JAMMU, Jan 28: A woman was killed in a road mishap in Domana area of city outskirts.
“A pedestrian namely Geeta Dhar (52) wife of RL Dhar, resident of Udeywala, was hit and seriously injured by a speeding car near Karan Palace, Domana on Jammu-Akhnoor Road, last night,” a police official said.
He said the injured woman was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where she died after few hours. “After postmortem, the body was today handed over to its legal heirs for last rites while Domana police had registered a case in this connection and started investigations,” the official added.
