Bank guard shot at

SRINAGAR, Jan 28: A Jammu and Kashmir Bank security guard was injured critically in a militant attack in Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district today.
Militants fired upon one Tariq Ahmad Wani son of Abdul Rashid Wani when he was heading towards home at Aabghar road Tral.

Tariq, a resident of Reshipora, was rushed to nearby hospital where from he was referred to SMHS hospital in Srinagar for treatment. Tariq, a retired soldier of 5 JAKLI is presently a bank security guard posted in Tral.
Police have registered a case under relevant Sections of law and initiated investigation in the matter.
A WagonR (JK05A-4373) was asked to stop by the naka party of Army and police at Wassun. After the car did not stop, the persons travelling in it were given some warning shots, resulting in minor injuries to one person.
The injured has been identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Parray son of Ghulam Mohammad Khaitang, Baramulla. Another person Manzoor Lone son Abdul Karim Lone of Khaitang, Baramulla who was boarding the vehicle fled and is said to have received injuries in his leg.
Following the incident, the naka party detained two persons including the driver. The detained persons were identified as Mushtaq War son of Bashir War and Javid Dar son of Ghulam Rasool of Khanpora.
