REASI, Jan 29: Acting swiftly and displaying professionalism, Reasi Police worked out a theft case within three hours and arrested the accused besides affecting recovery of the stolen cash.
The theft had taken place at the dhaba of one Mohd Maqbool Zaber son of Abdul Hameed of Ward number 07. After receipt of information in this regard, a Police party led by SHO Reasi, Ashwani Sharma swung into action. On the basis of CCTV footage of the dhaba, the thief was apprehended when he was on attempting to go to Judda.
On disclosure of the thief, the stolen money was recovered from an open plot near Ganesh Mandir Reasi.
The case was cracked under the supervision of Dy SP Headquarters Nikhil Gogna.
