JAMMU, Jan 29: Director General of Police Dilbag Singh sanctioned retirement gift of Rs 61.8 lakh in favour of 103 police personnel of J&K Police, who retired from service voluntarily on 31st Dec. 2018 or retiring on superannuation this month.
Order has been issued by PHQ for grant of retirement gift in favour of eight gazetted, 63 Non-gazetted officers and 32 lower subordinates including 04 followers. The personnel belong to different units and wings of the department.
Retirement gift at a uniform rate of rupees sixty thousands is sanctioned out of Contributory Police Welfare Fund for each police personnel on their superannuation or voluntary retirement. The gift serves as a token of appreciation for their services rendered to the department.
