JAMMU, Jan 30: Miran Sahib and Nagrota police arrested two absconders, who were evading their arrest since long.
As per police sources, a team from Miran Sahib Police Station arrested an absconder identified as Joginder Kumar, son of Ram Chand of Bhadur Khan, Miran Sahib and produced him in the court of law.
He was involved in a case registered under FIR Number 85/11 under section 323, 325, 147 and 148 RPC with Police Station Miran Sahib and was evading his arrest since long.
Arrest warrant under section 512 CrPC also stands issued against him by the court, which has been executed by SHO Miran Sahib Inspector Ajit Singh under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Sourabh Prasher and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
Meanwhile, District Special Branch (DSB) Jammu nabbed an absconder, who has been identified as Chuni Lal, son of Puran Chand, a resident of Bagh-e-Bahu Jammu.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 126/2003 under section 279 and 304-A RPC with Police Station Nagrota and was evading his arrest since long. The Court has also issued arrest warrant under section 512 CrPC against him.
The accused has been handed over to Nagrota Police for further action warranted under law.
