JAMMU, Jan 31: Eighty two police personnel of IRP-19th Battalion have been promoted to the next rank.
As per police spokesman, on the directions of Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh and ADGP Armed AK Choudhary, the internal Department Promotion Committee (DPC) was constituted and cleared the fast track in-situ promotion of 82 police personnel of IRP-19th Battalion including 64 Constables and 18 Followers.
While issuing the in-situ promotion order, Commandant IRP-19th Battalion Shiv Kumar Sharma impressed upon the promoted officials to work with dedication and devotion for the betterment and service of society.
The DPC comprised of Shiv Kumar Sharma, SSP Commandant, Ashok Kumar Chib, Dy SP (Adjutant), SI Ankush Jyoti (OSI), ASI Prem Krishan (I/c Accounts), HC Puran Chand (Q-clerk) and SgCt Satya Dev Singh (CRC).
