JAMMU, Feb 1: Talab Tillo police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested a drug peddler and recovered ganja from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Talab Tillo Police Post laid a naka and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 2 kilograms of ganja from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Rohit Kumar, a resident of Chattisgarh, at present Priya Darshani Lane Number 1, Talab Tillo.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Nowabad Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Talab Tillo Police Post SI Vikrant Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Nowabad Inspector Neeraj Bhagat, SDPO West Sheema Nabi, SP City Amritpal Singh and SSP Jammu Tejinder Singh.
