JAMMU, Feb 1: A 21-year-old youth was found hanging today near his residence in Top Paloura area of city outskirts.
“Shubhum Lamba son of Sunil Kumar, resident of Top Paloura, who used to work in a private company, was found hanging this afternoon from an iron angle with the help of a bed sheet,” a police official said.
He said the body was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for postmortem while Janipur police has initiated inquest proceedings in this connection, as no suicide note was recovered from the spot.
