JAMMU, Feb 2: A 21-year-old youth was found hanging today at his residence in Shakti Nagar area of city outskirts.
“Vishal Kumar son of Tilak Raj, resident of House No 295, Lane No 5, Shakti Nagar, who used to do a private job, was found hanging this morning from the hook of the ceiling fan with the help of a rope,” a police official said.
He said after postmortem the body was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites while Bakshi Nagar police had initiated inquest proceedings in this connection, as no suicide note was recovered from the spot.
