JAMMU, Feb 5: A blood donation camp was organized by NSS wing of Government MAM PG College in collaboration with Jammu Lion Blood Donors, here today.
Volunteers donated blood in the mobile blood collection bus with great pride. A total of 71 volunteers donated blood.
Principal of the College, Dr Subash Sharma presided over the event while Ramesh Kotwal, SSP Headquarters, was chief guest on the occasion. Dr Meena Setu, HOD Blood Bank GMC, was the guest of honour and Manmohan Singh, founder of Sukhdev Sewa Trust, was the special guest on the occasion.
Manmohan Singh encouraged the gathering for donating blood and thus saving the life of the person in need while SSP Ramesh Kotwal also motivated and inspired the gathering for donating blood.
The function came to an end with the vote of thanks by Prof Devinder Kumar Sharma, Programme Officer NSS.
